okay so not the best thing to split was inside but just got to do what you got to do just that split it small just because well beginning of your fire when you have split wood it burns a lot cleaner less smoke and once you have the nice coals burning then you can put your your whole pieces in nothing is enough open

of course you know inside the bottom here is soft so it's not the best thing but go do what you got to do ok so this is the beginning got plenty of wood for uh Oh two three four nice maybe depending how cold it's going to be right now we're testing it just this time and we have plenty of wood so how are we doing now is relaxing waiting for a coffee and later on have supper and relax tonight so and also I'm leaning on something which you probably know what it is you see me build it a little bit that's very simple it's just a simple tripod and in this position in a teepee er when you're sitting down it's always nice to be able to rest your back I know for me this but you know what I'm calling this the lbr yeah I just baptize it lbr stands for Lonnie's backrest because that's where I saw this thing being done by brother Lonnie so you guys check out his channel Lonnie is he's very inventive with his thoughts he's smart and very creative and he can do pretty much he'll use just about anything to create something great and could be something very small that doesn't mean a thing but when he's finished with it Wow and it's always very useful so uh you know check his channel out it's far north bushcraft and survival at the same time you're going to see this thing how he makes it so it'll be a plus so they would yep inside is nice and warm and smokeless we're smoke-free with a beautiful fire and a beautiful hot coffee coming man that's going to be just great and if I turn a little bit on that side we have two rows of wood right there

my dear friends so we're pretty much all set for a little while anyway all right boys and girls now you're going to be laughing at me this is my coffee cup tonight mmm so we'll be the best but better than drinking some other way so Cheers

I forgot my cup oh okay so I'm learning a few things and I'm going to share that with you guys first of all I just went outside and there's a big difference between outside and inside trust me and it's nice and warm in here but there's a few things that I think we must do if we want to have a successful teepee first of all let me just show you give me a second there first of all you need some airflow okay and I think the colder it gets the less space you're going to need because the air I think is going to flow better but right now it's not like -20 but it's very cold and as the air comes in it helps push up the smoke obviously and you absolutely need a flap as you're doing or just relaxing and cooking and doing your little things you leave the flap open and just just before you go to bed you make a roaring fire nice fire and you build some nice coals and once you have some nice big coals you can put you know a few pieces of nice dried hardwood on it and then you close your flap and you just leave it just a little bit of flow so it'll be not as much smoke they'll be creating lots of heat and keeping the heat inside as you close the flap and all that because if you don't leave this airflow the smoke tends to want to come down now we're sitting down here and it's fine but if I close this

the smoke wants to come down a little bit lower and it's not fine and of course our fire is not roaring right now we're just keeping it just a simple fire because we don't need more on that it's you know smoking obviously but just with a little bit of airflow you'll be okay and having and you know the flap open to evacuate that smoke it'll be great so just before going to bed make this a nice hot fire lots of coals and then put a last few nice big chunks pieces and of course during the middle of the night you may have to depending how cold it is may have to Kindle it up a bit right now my wife Josie is like falling asleep we need to cook some supper Josie yeah what she is falling asleep hold on there not right away just later on we have to have a supper first okay so anyway just a few tips if ever you decide to do build some of this thing with an open fire like that of course if we'd have a nice stove in here we wouldn't require that but we don't so that's what we have to do one other thing that of course I'm noticing even though you do have some smoke in the teepee when you do go to bed at night the level of where you are lying down there's no it's I'm almost practically impossible for snow lots of smoke to get to you so you'd be all okay anyways we'll see I'm pretty sure we will right darlin guys burning fire and this level here this height you know I just get the nice heat right now because I didn't make the fire too high the fire pit so the heat is coming right at me right now it's nice and warm all I need to do is put a nice wool blanket on top of me perfect and when it's time I know I'm repeating myself but I'm experimenting to try and have the best experience in this teepee see the flap is closed up the flap at the air pocket is completely closed so no cold air is coming in the smoke is not so bad it's about if I sit up straight it's about just about a foot over my head so I couldn't stand up in here if I leave that closed but that's fine but by going to bed like this no problem which can be cool okay so pretty soon we're going to be making some soup ah why are we having that my dear wife a piece of wood Oh spaghetti yes ma'am spaghetti I love spaghetti especially our spaghetti sauce all right so we have some how cool it is to have just nice flat rocks around we really have to do anything but anyway we got some boiling pasta there and of course I'm going to have to say that this is the best sauce on this planet oh yeah this is great wish you guys could smell it I could maybe try and show you but you won't see much I don't link but oh man this is going to be good we have some bread and garlic butter

and this is this is the sauce right here my dear friends yeah double-car do pro credible way that's the word four times quadruple double quadruple meal here or I should say just a quadruple meal I then it six times you're gonna say I'm crazy think you're hungry

that is possible mmm okay Josie just put me in charge in charge of the toaster so let me try and yep

you need a piece of stick here got one oh yeah let's toast it all around just mortos it in the middle quick a quick toaster what can I say it works no I don't have to go out just dump it there yes sir are you gonna need that anything you that you owe it there no it's not gonna be doing coffee just just dump it there

Oh beautiful toast right pretty soon okay that's gonna need some butter yes sir woof it's hot you gotta love good old coals i'ma tell you hey piece of wood just caught on fire here okay so this is like melting and it's garlic okay leave the sauce get away and okay I have to readjust that it's not gonna work I want to burn me piece of bread is burning right now okay this nice piece here will be pretty good here little bit more perfect perfect

okay so one last little show here we'll try eating spaghetti with a spoon no problem just slice it a little bit go down this is going to be really good really hot

hmm oh man yep my toast is not perfect but got some garlic on it very good over now it's time for a tea Oh touch touch just leave it like that it's gonna do its job ah I can't tell you how comfortable I am right now I know I'm a little bit of a pain telling you but what can I say so anyway it'll be dark in about five minutes
