all right so don't go away we're going to take a look at a nice piece of kit from fire box [Music]

all right folks so something pretty exciting new accessory from fire box for the Nano stove now most of you are all familiar with is very popular fire box the 5-inch one probably one of the best pieces of kit when it comes to you know woodworking stoves the market its last you a couple lifetimes it's thin you know it's anyway you guys know about this this video is not about that and it's not about really the Nano because even the Nano is as popular as the fire box but it's mostly about this case and some stuff in it it's called the X case now look at that design you've got a complete stove in here all the pieces are inside easy to pack not too heavy and we know how the Nano works you can use wood you can use your alcohol stove Trangia gas stove you can even use tablets if you buy you the right accessories but let's open her up here a sec okay wondering about five inches this way three and a half this way and maybe 3/4 thick so I'm gonna try and not be too clumsy behind the camera here because it's always in the way let me just get this out of there so this is what usually comes with the Nano now you've got this felt here of course the case you got two other pins which we will see later now usually I try and go too fast with these things and I mess up I forget so this is your typical nano nano stove okay three inches I think as I said before use the wood you can use alcohol stove or a gas stove from Trangia everything's calculated and he's got a little plate where you can put here if you're a fan of fuel tablets but in this case hmm the X case as you can see goes into the grooves of the case here to make it stable and hmm which is a good thing concerning the No Trace type deal okay it acts as a hash pan which is awesome just in case you weren't familiar these little things here now you can put your Trangia stove right at the bottom you'll have the hottest of flames or you've got little holes here in the corners let me see here where you just put this in one corner there's a corner or you can fit in a transia very nice and tightly in there so it's stable and you're gonna have medium heat at that point also steve sells another plate where you can put tablets and it's also what's that word calculated to fit I think the Trangia gas stove where it goes in and locks and tight in there which is amazing so you have three different ways of using this stove okay so what's new concerning the accessories well you've got a pan here now I like to use my Trangia stove for sure but when there's wood around I only have to carry this I like to use wood so now because we have an ash pan and it's secure we can now take this up this way and you have a longer now you can't see it but anyway you have a longer reach to put your wood and have longer burning times and at the same time you have an ash pan so there's no need to be afraid to I don't leave a trace in the environment so everything is there also you have these two pins here got one side that's pointy and the other ones normal so what you're going to need to do this is another smart invention why not use what's in here is just put this guy in I might need to find my hole here okay one you see where I'm getting at or the idea Steve has had with this and be patient I'm just trying to find my other holes here okay anyway got it

so basically now this with these two things can be used as now I won't put it completely in because my this is gonna follow there but a windbreaker okay you'd use this this under the pan I won't put it because this is gonna pull this is just so loose but you can use that for that obviously you can't see much of it sorry it's black but what an awesome thought and you can put it any way you want in the corner depending where the winds coming from it's just awesome awesome idea also I was thinking let me take these out for a second I was thinking when you have a pot and your your your wood burnings you're burning your wood I mean sometimes you got a smaller pot with a handle that can become hot well you can use this to protect your hands now you can either you see these holes here there's holes here and hole there okay I'm just gonna get out of the way so I can show you you can feed - nice sticks here and two other sticks here as you can see they're not the same height so you have a better burning time and put more wood but also let me put this back or it's supposed to go

if you lift this up now this is pretty high okay if I put let's say a pot you've got like three quarters of an inch where he can still feed from at least three sides so I mean this is I mean just amazing and everything in one little package

so in conclusion well it's very simple the Nano was already in awesome you know small stove backpackers lightweight three different ways of using it but now it's contained into this and it's uh it's got a neck strap and if you don't want to damage nature and also you even have yourself a windbreaker in there I mean everything is usable now this is obviously just an overview of this I will be using it and what I really appreciate concerning this new design is lifting up that ash pan that's already in and it gives you a much more more space to put longer pieces of wood and longer burning time I'm going to leave actually the link to Steve's video for firebox comm in the description of the video of this one please take a look at it and leave his website also but look at his video and take a look I mean he boils stuff he cooks his stuff his supper was just you know four pieces of wood so imagine that just having to carry this in the woods and you can do everything you want with it right on Steve super okay so I hope you enjoyed this little inside video take a look again at the screen in the description and you know subscribe to Steve he's got all awesome videos he loves fishing and also if you need this well it's a nice Christmas gift hint hint this is my crumble chef Barton's buy one last important thing I have to say that I'm going to be really happy about this X case you guys during the winter time you know what happens when you make a fire it sinks well no more sinking well anyway not as quick as if you didn't have any at all so that's gonna be a great base for taking the time to cook the boiler your stuff so great idea I'm out
