alright so in this video is gonna be a little bit different I'd like to show you my personal wilderness kit now this is not a specific kit that that's what you're looking for it's not a specific fire kit survival kit hygiene kit none of that what it is it's stuff I put in one bag years ago took some stuff out I have some stuff etc and now it's complete and that's all I use and not you know this may not work for you and I absolutely you know respect that but it may give you some ideas for a bag some stuff to add or take out whatever but I thought I would share this with you because it's been tested and true [Music]

okay so as I said before this thing it doesn't matter if it's one night or seven nights that I'm in the woods this is always with me and everything that's in here is always the same now I have to admit that I added one thing through the years actually recently and I change I replace something for the same thing so actually I just added one thing but this is everything that's in here and again it's nothing specific it's a whole bunch of stuff that is mixed and but I'm so used to it now that I know when I need something it's in here first off the bag now you guys should know who Malcolm is the hidden woodsman he makes all kinds of pouches and traditional haversacks I own quite a few of all kinds of pouches I own to French trade bags and I'm very pleased with it so if you need anything of that I'm just sharing it's all made in the US and Malcolm is very talented when it comes to these things now this I think he calls this his tinder bag but I use it for different things obviously and he made it like like a dry bag which I find cool you know you can roll up I can't remember the type of camouflage this is okay this is not a waterproof bag by the way it's water-resistant okay so let's see I'm gonna try and go quickly through this if I can but you know when you try and explain things so just be patient with me crop up the cream the core my New Testament now I do have a friend that gave me a waterproof one absolutely love it but the only problem is that is it's it's written too small my eyes are getting anyway they're not as good as they used to but when my eyes come back to normal I'm gonna use the other one because it's thinner and it's waterproof they called the waterproof Bible okay next now this is as I said this isn't anything specific you'll see this is all mixed up but it's just like you know when you're you have your own room in the house and everything seems to be a mess to somebody but to you you know how to find your stuff well I'm not a messy guy but I know where my stuff is even if it looks messy so this is gonna look kind of messy concerning you know products so in here don't need to describe that toothbrush I find these toothbrushes pretty handy because they're small you know they fold you can get that at your local pharmacy you just have to be careful when you're brushing your teeth because as you know it's not that strong but it's very lightweight I also have tylenol you know stuff like that in this but in that little waterproof container hearing the geese okay toothpaste and by the way I know I'm changing subject it was - for this morning we're only the 24th of September which is pretty crazy - for is what maybe 25 that was a pretty big frost there for this time of the year I also have this little silver compass gray compass but to be honest I usually mostly for the mirror oh yeah I need a mirror this is an extra plastic container

they'll put different stuff in I always have that and of course you know medication like imodium and all that good stuff wipes pills worth if you got knives the nausea nausea speak properly is in here I also have some soap very important okay these things at the beginning I didn't like these things you know for your teeth like a floss but the it's been replaced by this now all not replaced but a lot of people use them and ice this one's new now I start I'm getting used to it and it also acts quite nicely for like a toothpick also in this little bag here I'm not gonna take it out there but dental floss I've got some Burt's Bees this is hand and sow I love this especially those nice little mosquitoes after it itches this works well and lip balm is as well from Burt's Bees I like Burt's Bees and lastly well I just have handkerchief okay I have lots of those in the old days blow your nose wipe stuff many uses this bag was made for me from another Malcolm from the UK I believe awesome little pouch I use it for for what you're about to see okay so what's in here okay so I have just a simple headlamp I always leave my headlamp in here it's just a old light headlamp maybe I'll show it some other day but nothing special but it works for me it's very lightweight and rechargeable I have extra batteries okay talk about that in a minute now this is the thing that I added to this kit and I'll explain why this is the thrunite I think it's the th 30 th Rd remember I reviewed this I use this well for me personally I use it for filming at night it just works perfect I just love it for that and you know it's useful for other stuff but I mainly use it for that and it's got a 18650 battery in it so that's why I have a spare so that's the new thing I added and of course USB and this is the thing I replaced now this guy's I have to talk more about this one I had a big flashlight okay pretty powerful but you know what I never used it I mean I know we keep stuff just in case but in certain kits I don't want stuff just in case you know because of weight and stuff and so I decided to replace it but I still carried another flashlight this is a backup flashlight but this one here okay it's the t10 from thrunite this is the v2 version the newest version the main reason why I replace the other one look at the size of this I know I've been showing a lot of you know in general powerful flashlights and I don't think I've see I've shown many EDC flashlights now I don't know the specs about this but one two three little over three inches maybe it weighs nothing uses one double a battery that's why I have an extra double a battery here and it's got a maximum of 180 lumens which I mean I don't need more for the use of this but if you get a rechargeable one which is 14 500 this little guy can go up to 550 so that's pretty cool it's got I think five modes on it low medium high or medium or low medium yeah low medium high Firefly and SOS the 180 lumens the max with the double-a battery I think it lasts over 90 minutes plus you know and then 80 lumens at you know eight days or something or eight hours I don't know anyway I'll just leave the links there somewhere so you can you know read about it more but this thing is just awesome it has a reversible clip okay that you could put on your cap and something that they added to this which I absolutely love which is 60% of why I have it or a carry it is the magnet in the back here so of course you can't see it but if you break down have a flat tire open the hood you know you can put the light there if your hands are free if you don't have your head lab change your tire it'll even you know even through it's pretty

strong soul even go through your you know stay solid even through the paint on your car good thing about this magnet is in the woods you need to look in your bag you need to have your hands-free again you have no headlamp we you know that's why it's a backup you can put this at any angle you want as long as you have a knife and a tree that's pretty cool for that and what I like is I was strong enough to hold firmly you even through any types of coating that you still may have now the way to use it it's very simple if it's closed you just hold it you get the Firefly and it's got memory on low and medium I think you close it you open it and you go through the two modes oh and medium simple that is and whenever you're open if you double click get high double click again SOS this little thing even has SOS and you know what I've cared I have carried it in my pockets because sometimes I take it out when I if you go for walks at night or something like that you can't even feel it you know in your pockets this thing there is I'm telling you for EDC is 9 out of 10 for me anyway

really cool know what I think I'll maybe if I think of it the end of video I'll give you some light shots you know you'll you'll notice that 180 or your 550 if you get the other battery is plenty ok so that's what's in this pouch and of course this flashlight is like 20 bucks I think so very cheap to buy and you know what I know there's keychain flashlights and stuff but to be honest me personally I really don't like them because they're first of all they're a pain on my keychain they're too heavy and they're not big enough you know to be comfortable in the hands and I don't like the twist and anyway this is just a perfect size no wait I mean you can use it so many different ways so that's why I'm I'm pushing this because I'm not showing you no EDC flashlights much so might as well take advantage of this time alright so is there anything else in that personal wilderness kit you know there's all kinds of abbreviations like PSK I've seen on the tube personal survival kit so I just invented the personal kit or pwk there you go lastly oh yeah battery pack now this battery pack there are like millions of them out there it's probably not the best one but it's one that really works for me it's an Okie anyway I'll show you the outputs and inputs and stuff this is a 10,000 mAh I think 10050 mhm and it just works perfect for me I can charge my my Galaxy a5 four times so I can use this not just for my phone but for my th 30 you know that flashlight from through night the bigger one and also my headlamp so my headlamp through night flashlights where they say gosh my phone bow so there you go there you have it that wasn't too bad was it I know a lot of you guys don't like to see these kinds of videos but I thought I'd make a little bit of a change and show some stuff like that I'm gonna do that once in a while you know and as I said if there's stuff that you see in my videos that I normally use generally use and you want to know more about it well just let me know and we'll try and make it happen okay so I'd like to address a few more things I know a lot of you through the years you know supported me through my Amazon store I used the funds from that to pay for my rig all my website because that costs money each year and I really appreciate that but now sadly Amazon has changed things so there's no more store and in a sense I don't mind it because I would recommend the stuff that I use and then they throw all their stuff to recommend their you know and that would be confusing to you guys so you know what perfect so from now on what I'm gonna do is I'm going to if you want to continue supporting me like this I'm going to permanently leave the products okay that I use and not any products products that I use in my videos what you generally see stuff I enjoy and it's not gonna be tons of it I mean just just what I really know it's good and I mean the list is not big right now I'm just gonna slowly build it with the links so I mean I'm not forcing you know I'm not forcing anyone to buy but if you would like to purchase whatever it is you see and you like if you go through that link well it supports me you know that's it so slowly I'll put stuff right now there's just like four or five things but I'll build a comprehensive short but you know permanent stuff stuff you see almost in all my videos almost and this is the last thing I promise now remember I want to build this channel to be more of a knit community group so I was thinking I know people have done in the past and people are still doing it I'm bringing you the idea of doing a QA questions and answers why not what I'm going to do is don't ask me any questions in this video please just let me know if this would interest you that's it in your comment somewhere just write down interested I'll know what it means and if I see there is an interest big interest well I'll make another video in an outdoor video or something I don't know and explain to you how we're gonna make this happen so don't forget that okay I am done I'm done you guys happy it seems like I'm talking so much in videos these days that's okay that's okay I know you guys love me enough to listen to my rambling I appreciate you thank you again for all your support and this is my crumble chef Barnes don't forget to enjoy the wilderness the weather is cooling down it's the fall time to go out [Music]
