Hello my name is Lilly and I am making videos about primitive living skills, survival, bushcraft, camping gear and prepping. I consider myself being a modern hunter-gatherer who wants to live as close as possible with mother nature and right now I am in the process of learning how to live off the land and thrive in the wilderness. Thanks for watching ~ Survival Lilly

hi guys I'm out here to show you my new rook saga half it's the Italian mountain whoop sack I'm really fond of it so I wanted to share it with you guys and I also wanted to show you how a packet for five days in the wilderness okay guys this is the front of your works ugh the rooks work is consisting out of very thick canvas which I'm really fond of and the main pouch has this flap here which has this great traditional closing system which does a good job I've seen some people on YouTube who replace these old-fashioned bottles with fast closing battles you can do that if you like but I decided to leave these ones on so when we open up the roof sex now we see that the top flap is rubberized at the inside so I guess that's for you know rain protection because of course the canvas is not waterproof but this rubberized material is and then the roof set comes with this holes here so I put in this cordage and if you want to you can you know tie everything tied together so nothing falls out of the rucksack and yeah in here there's a lot of space for your staff if you put your rucksack to a surface where it's very you know moist and wet nothing will come into the rucksack because it has this plastic here so what a pack for my research is first of all you know you want to have some kind of toilet bag my first-aid kit always important to have one with you yeah and

I got this slingshot yesterday it's by the company true mark I think this one is the best clean shot you can have it's just amazing it has a lot of power and then I have this waterproof bag which is an earthly

bag okay so these are the materials that I carry in my dry bag this is a DS 40 compass by the company recta this year you know is a waterproof container which contains matches and a fishing kit here I have my Ferro rod by light my fire and this is a cotton bandana and I have this notepad and a pencil and this is my new flashlight my headlamp is the tikka XB 2 my pencil I'm really fond of this flashlight so I'm really glad that I bought this one it's really bright so and if I stuck everything back in here there's a lot of space left for you know food like your rice or potatoes okay here at the front the rucksack has this you know really sturdy last year which fits perfectly for my little hand axe in sweater links and yeah this is just a perfect holder for on hand X so the side pockets they have well CRO at the sides which makes the closing system a little bit more secure and then you have this rubberized material at the top here which makes the side pockets a little bit more waterproof as well so and the side pockets you know I had this cordage within here which you can use to tie everything very tight to tie together so nothing falls out of here Mada side pockets are very you know spaces to in here i have my hand holding soil and i and and i've got my top in here so that's it in here head out there's a lot of space so a lot of things can go in here and this is actually a poncho so when it's raining and taking it out to cover myself and the rucksack so at the other side pouch i have my big man gene bottle by griot designed I think it's the best stainless steel bottle you can get because it's bomb-proof

out of very thick steel and it has a big mouth which is important for cleaning okay and then I have this little you know cop here which almost fits the stainless steel cup perfectly but there's still a lot of space in between so I'm searching for a cup which is fitting the bottle tighter so here I had this Swiss emergency cooker which is just great

you know when everything is bone-dry like today you know if you start off I hear you would definitely start a forest fire and you don't want that of course so now let's come to the bottom of the rucksack where I attached this wool blanket here and the closing system of the straps are two rings which is a great system and at this side I'm missing a black ring so I just attached a key ring to it so you just open everything up and then you can have a quick and easy access to your full blanket so when you are looking at the back here the actual strap of the rucksack is the short one which is part short for attaching a wool blanket to your rucksack so I attached this long strap here with a simple nod like this and this is a bomb-proof connection so there is another strap here which I'm not really sure what it's for it looks like some kind of belt strap something like that so I left this this one on the roof sock maybe I gonna need something like that now let's come to the shoulder straps up here this you know this very sturdy holding strap in the middle and then there are this shoulder straps some people are not really fun of them because they're probably aching because they are not well padded and have seen people on YouTube who replace the straps with alle straps which is a good idea but I decided to leave them on at this side I attached a signal whistle so if you are a wilderness person like me you're gonna have a lot of rucksacks and bag of bags which are constantly changing and improving over the time so I have my first change for this setup here I was thinking about river crossings so I think that when I cross a reverb is with this rucksack and I fall into the water the wolf blanket is going to get soaking wet so what I wanted to do now is to take out the poncho and wrap up the wool blanket in the poncho to make it at least a little bit waterproof you
