Hello my name is Lilly and I am making videos about primitive living skills, survival, bushcraft, camping gear and prepping. I consider myself being a modern hunter-gatherer who wants to live as close as possible with mother nature and right now I am in the process of learning how to live off the land and thrive in the wilderness. Thanks for watching ~ Survival Lilly

hi guys my name is Lily and today I'm by the river set and I'm probably gonna kill myself

stay tuned yeah guys today I'm back at the Riverside and today I wanted to try to cross a river with a rope and I have seen that at a lot of survival shows and today I wanted to try it for myself and see if it really works and as you can see I have set up this black rope here which reaches from this side to the other the length is about 15 meters so it should be OK for me to cross the river and I want to try two techniques the first technique is the SAS technique where you stay on top of the rope and the second technique is the monkey technique where you stay underneath the rope so we will see if I survive this okay the first technique the SAS technique is a little bit painful to the body because you lay on a rope and you pull yourself forward so I put on the jacket which protects me from the friction of the rope and I set up my GoPro oh gosh oh my god that was so far easier it was so easy because I just said the robe is hang tired and at the other side okay next I want to try the hanging like a monkey technique and I think it's going to be more difficult and maybe get wet

I got a little bit wet at my back because the hello the rope was hanging too slack you know so I touched a water and then I switched to the SAS technique again cool so much fun well actually crossing a river with a rope is a lot of fun and it also keeps your feet dry which is great if you want to see me doing other adventures check out these videos here at the sides follow me on Facebook Twitter and Instagram and subscribe to my channel if you want to see more stay tuned till next time
