Hello my name is Lilly and I am making videos about primitive living skills, survival, bushcraft, camping gear and prepping. I consider myself being a modern hunter-gatherer who wants to live as close as possible with mother nature and right now I am in the process of learning how to live off the land and thrive in the wilderness. Thanks for watching ~ Survival Lilly

this is Joe Robinette from the Joe robinette bushcraft channel and your Washington survival Lily I'm survivor Lily and today I wanted to make our review of my rucksack that I have been using for the last two years now it's the Maxpedition pygmy Falcon - now let's take a closer look so I have used this rucksack here for two years and the seams are holding great there are no holes in it and I think I have washed it only once

it still looks brand-new so now let's take a close look on the rucksack here you can see that it has a reshaped strap to close the loop sack and if you open up the strap here you can have access to the two main pouches and here at the front you can see that it has a slightly tactical loop because there are 2 rows of MOLLE webbing going across the rucksack here and here you can see the Maxpedition logo down here the first pouch ends and there are four loops and I have put some paracord through the loop so now if I want to I can attach a tarp or a Czech head at the bottom of the rucksack here and here there's another strap that goes all the way through the molle webbing and you can make it shorter or longer just as you wish the first part that I want to show you is the front pouch it's a very small and flat pouch and Edwards for example fit a map perfectly the second pouch

this this one here and as you can see there is a lot of space for small stuff in there it goes down very deep and you have some little compartments where you can put your stuff and there's this little lanyard here where you can hang your keys if you want to so that's a pretty neat compartment I really like it and now I want to show you the big compartment which opens like a clamshell and here you can see that is just one big compartment with a small zipper pouch here we can put your wallet for example and then you have a loop where you can hang your hydration system now here at the top you can see that it has a very sturdy handle it has never left me down and here you have some additional loops where you can hang stuff if you take a look at the side pockets here we can see that they are actually very big and they can fit a Nalgene bottle and the nesting cup this is my Nalgene bottle which has 32 ounces and archeiai nesting cup so the pockets are very big at first I thought that the mesh is going to rip some time but it didn't so it held up pretty good I have to say and here at the sides you can see that you have some Mali bearings where you can hang stuff for example on the other side here I have a backhoe Laplander a knife which I hung into the molle webbing so I don't lose it and here I have my backhoe hand holding saw and it stays all in the side pockets and I've never lost something which was in the side pockets because of this zipper here so that's pretty cool now let's take a look at the bag here it has a very comfortable padding for the back and the straps they are really comfortable I have never had some shoulder ache or something like that because the roots are sits really nice on the shoulders the shoulder straps are completely adjustable to your own body size you have a chest strap as well so if you need to do some running you can really you know tighten it up to your body that's really nice it doesn't come with a hip strap though but I think it's okay because the rucksack is rather short and it wouldn't reach your hips anyways the rucksack is made of a very sturdy material it has a capacity of 18 litres which i think is more than enough for a day pack and I really love it I have used it a lot in the last two years and it still looks brand new and that's what I really like about the Maxpedition brand because it's so sturdy and of high quality so it costs around $80 on Amazon which i think is a good price for a high quality product I have put a link into the description and yeah I really like the rucksack that's one of the few rucksacks that I really can recommend I'm using it myself and I'm thinking about of getting a second one in black for the city so I want to thank you for watching don't forget to subscribe like and share
