Hello my name is Lilly and I am making videos about primitive living skills, survival, bushcraft, camping gear and prepping. I consider myself being a modern hunter-gatherer who wants to live as close as possible with mother nature and right now I am in the process of learning how to live off the land and thrive in the wilderness. Thanks for watching ~ Survival Lilly

hi guys today I'm back at the camp here and I brought some birch bark with me and today I'm going to build a wall around the camp this is going to be a lot of work so I don't know if I can finish it today but you will see okay so before it's getting dark I want to make a quick test file and test out if the walls can hold all the wind today I'm lazy and I'm going to use this storm proof light here so as you can see now the smoke rises straight up into the air until here and then it moves left so I'm very happy with the wall here and yeah I'm always amazed how could the bridge block works as tinder material it burns like hell even when it's wet awesome yeah so I'm very happy with the walls here I think they block out about 95% of the winds which is great you next time I'm going to build two more walls at the front of the shelter here because I want to have some side barrier as well so my intention is that I going to hunt here and I don't want the animals to see me inside of the shelter with my fire so we're going to build some walls here yeah

the fire is almost odd but it's still very warm which surprises me and yeah that's because of the stone fire reflector and because of the walls here yeah there's so much you can do to improve your shelter and fireplace it's amazing so I really can't wait for wintertime to try this out in cold weather conditions and until then I want to thank you for watching and stay tuned till next time
