We rented our kayak at www.pedalspaddles.com in Sechelt.

In this video Randall and I are going on a sea kayak trip in Canada, BC. We got caught in bad weather and were glad when we reached a beach with oysters all over it. These oysters were not affected by the red tide, which we double checked with the natives there and with the red tide alarm system online.

Hello my name is Lilly and I am making videos about primitive living skills, survival, bushcraft, camping gear and prepping. I consider myself being a modern hunter-gatherer who wants to live as close as possible with mother nature and right now I am in the process of learning how to live off the land and thrive in the wilderness. Thanks for watching ~ Survival Lilly

hi I'm Lily and this is Randall Alexandra from Survival Guide PC this is porpoise bay in c-sharp british columbia and the company that gave us this awesome kayak it's called pedals and paddles and they're very friendly people so check out their website in the description okay guys he's getting a little bit rough we have bad better and we hope that you make it to this point over there

nice right

okay yes we just landed on a beach which is full with oysters and actually the local people told us that we can eat them they are not affected by the red tide so we are going to have a good mean yeah running with this one there's a lot of this driftwood around here so we have to plan for it the sea is pretty rough today

okay the island is pretty thick and I decided that we want to stay here at the beach and there's this cove here which is going to provide that so probably that's that's where we going to set up the camp yeah okay guys we have set up our shelter we didn't film it because it was raining cats and dogs and we are very um wet all out of our clothes or bed and yeah that's basically our shelter this is the table at the front at the top and here at the back side we have another table because you know after wind and at this side we have a rock so we are protected from this side and yeah random hairs made is bad so I made it out of some moss I've laid down some moss that we found and on top of the moss we're laying down some vows to keep keep it a little bit drier the moss is really wet and on top of that we'll be down an emergency blanket keep moisture off of us and keep it warm so how do you want to cook your stuff we'll put them in the frying pan and fry them up but sometimes just eat them raw I'm gonna try a little piece off of it okay and make sure that I don't get sick and usually what you do is you just cut a little piece off and you try and if you get feel a little bit sick then you don't eat them they have pretty bad weather and fire making is going to be a challenge today you came here and it was already wet so today we are going to use some birch bark that we brought with us okay we are planning to make a very big fire because we need to dry our clothes out and yeah if you don't do that you'll probably get sick boisterous allioli oh yeah it's done it's not yeah mmm the garlic mm-hmm oh my god oh my god we are going to live out here like kings oh yeah right more MORE
