Survival Lilly's EDC Rucksack - Urban Survival Kit

Description

In this video I present my EDC rucksack, which I use when I don't make survival videos in the woods. This is the backpack I carry every day, when I drive into the city or walk around in urban environments. This is an urban survival kit that I recommend for every daypack.

Hello my name is Lilly and I am making videos about primitive living skills, survival, bushcraft, camping gear and prepping. I consider myself being a modern hunter-gatherer who wants to live as close as possible with mother nature and right now I am in the process of learning how to live off the land and thrive in the wilderness. Thanks for watching ~ Survival Lilly

hi guys today I want to show you my EDC rucksack I have got a lot of questions about it so this is what I carry when I'm not in the forest when I'm out on the road or for example in Vienna that's the city that I'm living in that's a peg this here is the past by direct action it has transmitters and the material is Cordura 500t okay first off the kind of districts archaea is coyote brown and yeah i think it's just a perfect camouflage color but you still can wear it in the city and first of all let's take a look at the outside after work sucks so at the front here you can see laser-cut MOLLE webbing this is a little bit more concealed than the traditional multi webbing which I like very much and here it's got a welt or spot and on this spot I've got my Austrian flag normally it's red white red but this is the camouflage patch here you can see the logo by direct action and at the top you have some D rings and a paracord handle which I fancy a lot because it's so useful to have some paracord on your kit if you maybe lost your outer cordage and another cool feature about the zippers is that they have some kind of plastic coating so that makes it more durable which I'm very fond of now let's take a look at the sides of the last backpack and here you can see two straps and they open up like this and here you have a side pouch which is pretty flat at first but when you open it with this zipper here at the side then it opens up pretty wide so you can put a standard military canteen in there and yeah I'm so happy that they have this super here at the sides and that you can a chance the pockets so at the other side here I have just this small water bottle with me the pocket is pretty tight and tiny which is great so yeah it doesn't come into your way okay now let's take a look at the backside the straps are not very thick padded but actually they are very comfortable and yeah so for twenty little hooks slack that's okay I think and they come with a d-ring here and with a quick-release system if you need to get out of the rucksack and you have a chest strap sternum strap and the strap for your belly so I think it's great that you have all the options because if you need to run with the rucksack it doesn't come into your way and if you take a look at the backside after looks like we can see this nice ventilation system so there's this cavity in the middle where your spine runs through so that you don't sweat too much and then I have installed this nice rails here which they call combat ventilation system I have this pack back now for half a year and I have to say it it's so comfortable on my back they have done a very good job on this now for the first compartment I want to show you this hidden compartment which is right at the back and here you can put in your water bladder or a 15 inch notebook now let's take a look on the other compartments the first one is at the very front and you can see bit open here at this side and yeah this is just a flat pocket in here I have a garbage bag which comes in very handy in a lot of emergency situations you know and the next compartment is this one here so here you can see that the rucksack is very well organized here you have a transparent map pouch in that pouch I have a map of my city I have a go stick a toothbrush and a button compass and you can access that compartment but just I'm sitting this sip here I think that compartment is great because you can see all the contents that you have in here if we move further up we can see this mesh compartment and in here I have all kinds of core ports for electronic devices from a mobile phone for the mp3 player this here is a proven that you want charger where I can charge my batteries and I do have an mp3 player in here and this is great because you can listen to the radio so if there's something happening and you don't have access to internet you can at least listen to radio and you can record voices so that's a great little thing and it's also a USB Drive then we have this nice podcast where I have my clock all battle notebook right in the rain notebook in there and I have a pencil and my trusty Leatherman Wave which is so important I recommend that everyone carries a Leatherman wait in his ATC then I've got a pepper spray for self-defense and I've got this flashlight here which is by the company through night this is the TC 10 version 2 and I can recharge it why a USB this last night is a tactical flashlight it has this stainless steel bezel in front and you can smash in windows if you want to or if you have to then I have two more compartments or keep my document and my wallet and in here there's this nice umm hook where you can hook on things like keys or something and this is my EDC knife my Spyderco knife which usually goes right into the pocket of my jeans and then I have this bottle of disinfectant

so I think it's important that you have something break and disinfect your hands especially in the city you don't want to get sick because there are a lot of people who are sick actually ok now let's open up the main compartment

I have a shemagh this one is by 511 and then as you can see there is this talk head at the backside where you can have your water bladder and you have this attachment hook where you can attach your water bladder and this is the big compartment

it's very Spacey and in here I have my technical gloves by the company blackhawk

I have a first-aid kit in here you can see the description of the backpack direct action fast and down here there's another hidden compartment which is a lot of mesh and in here I have a pack of nuts it's great to have some kind of food with you and I have this waterproof bag if I if it's raining for example I can take this waterproof bag and put my electronic devices in there and then I have spare glasses all the straps are completely adjustable okay now I want to do the running test yeah guys I have to say that I have searched a long time to find a backpack like this and I think it's just perfect you know it fits all my needs and it has the perfect size and I love how they organized the compartments so yeah I think it's awesome I'm so in love with this rucksack

I probably gonna have it for the rest of my life yeah for a big guy this rucksack might be a little bit too small and direct action actually makes a bigger rucksack that looks just like that one here and that one is called dragon egg and I have put a link of both rucksacks into the description of this video I want to thank you guys for watching and at this point I want to give a shout out to another youtube channel and the youtube channels name is black scout survival and the guy who's running this channel makes a lot of urban survival videos so if you are interested in that check out his channel here at the side and he's making wilderness survival as well and he knows a lot about combat tactics because he served the military so he's an awesome guy check out his channel and maybe subscribe to his channel I need to get out of here stay tuned till next time
