Survival Uses Of A Shemagh

Description

There are a lot of ways how you can use and wear a shemagh. A shemagh is one of the most important piece of clothing in your survival kit...besides the bandana. A shemagh doesn't only give you cover from the elements by being a neckwrap or headwrap, but it is also valuable as a bag or fire making tool. I recommend at least one shemagh for evey survival kit.

hi guys I'm Lilly and today I want to talk about chez max chez max have become very popular amongst viral lists and today I wanted to give you some ideas how you can use a shame mark stay tuned okay first of all my favorite way to British market is as a neck wrap I just twist the corners in the opposite direction like so and then go around my neck and come back at the front and tuck the ends off - amok underneath underneath the main part here so that's how I wear it as a neck wrap and yeah this is how you can keep your neck warm and a lot of form gets lost over your neck over the exposed areas and another thing that you can do is you can use the Shabak as a head wrap and my favorite head wrap is the ninja head wrap so I take the shinnok like this diagonally and then I come back at the back side of my head and I go a little bit off the center like that and then I come over my head to my forehead here okay then I take the shorter end here go down underneath the chin come up at the opposite side then I take the longer end and cover my face come around the other side and here at this side I make a simple overhand knot doesn't work with the glasses in wintertime but that's the ninja wrap which is great in a sandstorm in a snowstorm a lot of heat is lost over the head so if you want to keep warm it's important that you have some kind of cover for your head okay the next use efficient Mac is basically you can make a sling out of it by taking the opposite corners and making an overhand knot and then you have the sling here so for example if you have an injured arm or a broken arm or something

put your arm into the sling and yeah that's very important when it comes to first dates so that you can help yourself out a little bit and oh sure Mac really comes in handy when it comes to slings another way how you can use your shamanic is to make a bank out of it for example you can wrap tinder or wild edibles things that you find in the wild into - a mark I put it in the middle of the sumac close it's diagonally and then I fold it back up like this

so next I'm taking the shemagh and wrap it around my back here like so and now you have a nice little bag that doesn't come into your way and you can do a lot of running this is the way that Matt gray hem carries his stuff so yeah it feels good it sits on your hip so you don't feel the weight at all the back wrap is great but it's a little bit limited when it comes to space so now I want to show you how to make a have a sack with this mark and the first thing I'm doing is I'm taking the shamash diagonally and I make an overhand knot into two opposing corners like this so now we have our sling and then I just take it over my shoulder and over my head and then I take the corner which is here at the front and come back to the sling and attach it to the sling with another overhand knot okay and then I take the other side so if I flip it around and go over my head again and I do the same thing with this corner just attach it to the sling with the corner with an overhand knot and that's it now we have a nice pocket I have a sink you can put a lot of things in there like for example this Tina bag here and there's a lot of space for more things yeah so that's a very nice heavy thing that you can make if you don't have a backpack or anything else to carry that will ya come in very handy the great thing about che max is that they are made out of cotton and you can use them to make char cloth for your fire-making kit so it helps you with fire making but for example if it's your first fire and you don't have a flint and steel kit and char cloth with you you can use it as tinder itself by just scraping off some tiny little bits of shavings of the material of the che Mack and make a small cut in a bundle with it yeah guy so ashemark is a valuable survival tool you can use it for a ton of things and I really recommend to take a Mac with you into the woods when you go hiking or camping I have taken some of these ideas from other people like for example Joe Robin a and pit fire outdoors please check out their channels here at the sides by clicking on the top right corner so I want to thank you for watching I hope this video was useful for you if you want to support my channel just share this video to your friends and maybe leave a like and a comment and yeah thank you for watching and stay tuned till next time
