How To Make Stone Age Hot Glue

Description

In this video I make stone age hot glue aka pine pitch and spruce pitch respectively. The components are about: 50% resin, 25% charcoal, 25% deer droppings. This glue is a hot glue and melts when it gets heated up. It is solluble to alcohol. The charcoal is important because it makes the resin stronger and more brittle. Plant fibers make the glue more flexible and prevent it from breaking.

hi guys my name is Lily and today I'm making Stone Age goo stay tuned

[Music]

hi guys my name is Lily and today I'm searching for ingredients for stone HQ and one of the components that you need is resin and in my area resin can be found on pine trees or spruce trees resin is one of the main components of the cue because it's very sticky and here I have found a wound on a spruce tree and the tree tried to close the wound with producing resin and that's what I can take and harvest for my glue okay guys so I have found quite a bit of spruce resin and now I'm walking along this deer trail because the next ingredient that we need is deer droppings

some people might find it disgusting that we use deer droppings for our view but actually if you take a closer look and crack up the deer droppings you will see that there are small little fibers in the droppings plant fibers that will give our glue a little bit more flexibility and make it less brittle you can use pretty much any deer droppings that you find these ones here are from Rodya but actually these ones are pretty wet and that's not good for the glue so today abroad moose droppings that I found in Sweden and as you can see there are a lot of dry and fine fibers which we can use for our stone edge q okay I'm back in the camp and there's some charcoal left in the fireplace and charcoal is the third ingredient that we use for our stone edge goo okay we have quite a lot of substances in our resin which shouldn't be there like pine needles third and bark of trees so we have to melt down the resin to make it liquid and after that we are going to purify it and filter it and then we are going to mix charcoal into it and while the pine resin is melting down now and raining down some charcoal make sure that you grant down the charcoal to a very fine powder okay now it's time to fill the fruit of pine resin it's unbelievable actually how much dirt is in the pine resin now it's time to add the charcoal okay I think that's enough now I don't have exact measurements I use about 50% of pine resin 25% of charcoal and 25% or 20% of deer droppings okay the GU is done and now I'm going to transfer it to the sticks because then the application for whatever you want to use it is easier and I'm just dipping the sticks into the view like this and then set it apart let it dry take the next stick and dip it into the glue okay the cue is finished and this is a great amount of pine pitch cue or still an aged hot glue and this is a hot glue essentially because if you heat it up it will become pliable again it's not soluble in water it's only soluble in alcohol so if you get some of the stuff on your hands just wash it off with alcohol high percentage of alcohol and yeah this glue is 100% biodegradable you can use it for a lot of tasks for example if you want to attach feathers to an arrow or if you have a hole in your top and you want to fix it so that's some great uses for the skew here and I'm looking forward to use it for future projects I want to thank you guys for watching please check out these videos here at the sides follow me on Facebook Twitter and Instagram and subscribe to my channel if you want to see more stay tuned till next time
