Hello my name is Lilly and I am making videos about primitive living skills, survival, bushcraft, camping gear and prepping. I consider myself being a modern hunter-gatherer who wants to live as close as possible with mother nature and right now I am in the process of learning how to live off the land and thrive in the wilderness. Thanks for watching ~ Survival Lilly

hi guys today I'm in the forest again to make a throwing stick and use it as a survival weapon stay tuned okay deferring stick is one of the most basic survival weapons that you can find in the wilderness you just take a stick and throw it at an animal and hope that you won't miss it and yeah for the stick we need some heavy and dense wood because you want to add some weight to the stick so that you can hit the animal properly I just came across this phone chestnuts tree here and chestnut is a pretty dense wood and it's very heavy so it would make a perfect spring stick I have my stick now and it's pretty heavy so I think you're going to cut it off here and maybe make a spike with this branch and then it should be good and if it's too heavy I gotta trim down the handle a little bit so no problem okay I have to trim down the handle a little bit because it feels a little bit too heavy maybe yeah you can make the stick stronger or bigger if you're if you have more muscles so a really big guy can have a really big stick but yeah for me it really has to fit my physical strength so I'm going to trim down the handle a little bit to make it more lightweight okay almost done with the stick and next you want to be sure that you don't have any wood sticking out and hurting you when throwing the stick so I just try to make the surface of the wood as smooth as possible you want to take the edge of the cut down a little bit okay we are done with the frame stick it looks pretty handy and yeah lies good in the hand and the most important thing is that you've really keep it in your hand while walking through the wilderness and not store it inside your rucksack because if you are bumping into an animal it will run away very quickly and then you don't have the time to pull out your throwing stick from the backpack so always keep it in your hand and now let's try out how good my shooting is with the throwing stick okay a Forex take is a short distance weapon so now my target is this old tree here which is dead and I try to hit it and the distance is about 6 meters missed it I'm always left yeah yeah the stick is still a little bit heavy after say maybe have to trim down a little bit more weight made a force be with me yeah did you see that I hate it I hate the tree sit sit

no sick oh gosh taxi so BEC Smith cleanup would bring your pot bring your bud yeah yeah yeah give it back to me give it back please Thanks please give it back to me please come on no good come on come on give it back to me thanks thanks thanks come on give it back bring it to me please yes sir yeah so the pouring stick is actually a very dangerous weapon and yeah the probability that you hit your animal is a little bit low but you can get it up to maybe 40% if you practice regularly and yeah actually you really have to watch out what you're doing with the stake because you don't want to hurt your dog or another person that's with you and the forest so please be careful so I want to thank you guys for watching please check out these videos here they are showing my friends who Sonny Williams she's in Germany and she has this awesome adventurer channel and she's doing overnight hours in a cave overnighters in a storm on a mountaintop and

stuff like that so if you're interested in that just check out her channel and maybe subscribe to her Channel please also don't forget to share this video with your friends and if you want to know the gear that I'm using check out my Amazon store stay tuned until next time bye
