hey guys it's joe here thanks for tuning in again I'm up here in our Eastern Ontario again doing another winter camp and this time I'm doing it out of a bulk so let's see what I pack for my pulk overnight are in the winter the brand of toboggan is Pelican about it at Canadian Tire it was about $40 I drilled all of these holes in it with my all on my Swiss Army knife wrap some paracord in it and tied all the loops through so everything's in there pretty solid have you nice to have some bungee cords on there or something but there's no big deal I made this really quick before I came up here I knew I needed it just throw it together I'd also like a longer rope in the front that's just too short but it works for this trip no big deal so then this rope stays attached to the front so I don't lose it first off I have my Nalgene full of water just sitting in there so I can drink it as I'm walking my next piece of gear is my tarp is my 5 by 7 nylon mest bushcraft us a mess that's just a small little tarp more of a ground sheet got my MSR shovel it will extend pretty good and it's got some nice teeth on the bottom I got all my stuff basically in one bag one duffel bag except for a few things but I do have a wool blanket outside of it underneath it my venture storm buck saw my 26 inch wetterling's axe and a new squirrel Coker from Kestrel bushcraft over in the UK so we use that for the first time today pretty cool thanks buddy this duffel bag is a black river sled duffel bag they use it for this purpose I like it because it's Center zip I can see all of my gear really easy have to go search around for a backpack first off I want to pull out my sit pack so I can use for my knees thumb rest pad next up I have my negative 10 Celsius down sleeping bag from MEC it's called the Talon in a sea2summit compression sack got my pillow my sleeping pad which is as always my therm-a-rest NeoAir like things are happening my 10 centimeter Billy can from zebra sunflower seeds a mug I have long johns a base layer top big thick wool socks and liner socks because it's supposed to get colder than my sleeping bag is rated to tonight supposed to get negative 14 wit + windchill and my seed bag is only rated to negative 10 but I do have that wool blanket as well I got a titanium cup or water bottle my food my paracord hankie and odds and ends as far as food goes for this trip they got all in my Fantomex pouch my large one got some Stephanie's wonder bars I dehydrated some awesome chili before I left this is homemade chili that my wife made thank you so much honey and this is one and a half meals so baby Bell spork snow-peak titanium spork with a bent handle so granola some pepperoni from Springer's meats in Hamilton some oatmeal Trail Mix resis just odds and ends hot chocolate that's I might have that right now actually in my odds-and-ends bag I have extra batteries and SD card for the camera pills like stomach pills tourniquet first-aid kit flint and steel some band-aids whatnot and on my person I have fire steel on the lanyard my Deering EDC bushcraft knife and my headlamp I've got a lot of questions about my new gloves they're from a company called Hester through a European company there are aligned leather glove awesome gloves I find unless it's super super cold out you don't really need big mitts it's as long as you are active and moving around Mountain Hardwear down vest or jacket sorry full Raven Greenwich shirt full Raven cab trousers who Baffin endurance boots so it's 12 now I got here at 10 o'clock this morning hiked for two hours haven't done anything I shot a little bit of video of shooting this video now I have to get my butt into gear because I have to build a natural shelter so if you guys want to see the full trip I'm going to post it and you can find links in the in the description of this video or right here or right here depending hope you guys enjoyed this video I hope you stick around to watch the trip video and yeah if you have any questions let me know if not thank you very much see you later bye
